G-STAR 2017: Global Game Business Starts in Korea

At the on-site Global Game Exhibition, ‘G-STAR 2017’, a game business system that supports communications between exhibitors and trade visitors will be actively in place. 

G-STAR Organizing Committee announced that the ‘G-STAR 2017’ business matching system pre-registration will take place from 13 September (Wednesday) until 3 November (Friday). 

‘G-STAR’ business matching system is an integrated business platform to support game contents export and overseas marketing of domestic and foreign corporations. ‘G-STAR 2017’ exhibitors and trade visitors can freely apply for it at the official home page. 

Exhibitors and trade visitors can verify pre-registration information between corporations and set up a place and a time to meet at ‘G-STAR 2017’ site through the message function that the system provides at the homepage. 

The system has been favorably received by domestic small to medium size gaming companies that normally do not have a lot of business opportunities with overseas trade visitors and large publishers. 

The Organizing Committee opened the business matching system as quickly as about a month earlier for the purpose of actual business result generation by ‘G-STAR 2017’ exhibitors. During the pre-registration period, 50% discount compared to the on-site registration (200$) will be offered. 

Yongguk Kim, the director of Korea Association of Game Industry said, “The business matching system is the optimized business solution exclusively offered by ‘G-STAR’ for the goal of becoming the largest game distribution hub in Asia”, and added, “We have extended the pre-registration period to maximize business consulting opportunities between ‘G-STAR 2017’ exhibitors and trade visitors, and with it, we expect active participation and actual results for the gaming companies.”
